I. Documents to Upload for Vietnam e-Visa:

• Photograph: A recent (within 6 months) passport-sized color photo (4x6 cm) with a plain white background. Your face should be clear, front-facing, with no glasses or headwear (unless for religious reasons, with full face visible).
• Confirmed Flights: Onward and return flight tickets.
• Accommodation Proof: Confirmed hotel booking or an invitation letter with the host's details (if staying with friends/family).
• (Optional/May be requested): Proof of financial means (e.g., bank statement for the last 3-6 months), especially for longer stays or specific visa types.

II. Important Considerations for Vietnam Travel:

• e-Visa Validity: Vietnam e-Visas are typically valid for up to 90 days, for single or multiple entries.
• Visa on Arrival (VOA): While VOA is available for Indians, it requires a pre-approved approval letter obtained online before travel. The e-Visa simplifies this by serving as the direct entry permit.
• Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned arrival date in Vietnam.
• "OK to Board": This is generally NOT required for Vietnam e-Visas.
• Overstay Fines: Strict penalties apply for overstaying your visa. Ensure you depart before your visa expires.
• Entry Discretion: Final entry approval rests with Vietnamese Immigration at the airport/border.
• Visa Fees: Vary by visa type and processing urgency. Fees are generally non-refundable once processing begins, even if the application is rejected.
• Phu Quoc Island Visa Exemption: Indian passport holders flying directly to Phu Quoc Island can enter visa-free for up to 30 days, provided they have a confirmed onward ticket out of Vietnam from Phu Quoc within 30 days.
