Fiji Visitor's Permit (for Indian Travelers) via SKY SARTHI™

Indian citizens do NOT require a pre-arranged visa for tourism to Fiji. Instead, they are issued a Visitor's Permit on Arrival valid for up to 4 months. SKY SARTHI™ helps ensure you have all the necessary documents for a smooth entry.

I. Documents Required Upon Arrival for Fiji Visitor's Permit:

  • Passport: Original passport valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of departure from Fiji, with at least 2 blank pages.
  • Return/Onward Flight Ticket: A confirmed return air ticket to India or an onward ticket to another country for which you are authorized to enter.
  • Accommodation Proof: Confirmed address of stay in Fiji (e.g., hotel/resort booking voucher, or an invitation letter from a host with their contact details and address if staying with friends/family).
  • Proof of Funds: Evidence of sufficient funds to cover your entire stay in Fiji (e.g., recent bank statements or international credit cards). While there's no fixed amount, it must be adequate for your duration of stay.
  • Completed Arrival Card: You will receive and need to fill out an immigration arrival card upon your flight to Fiji.

II. Important Considerations for Fiji Travel:

  • Permit, Not Visa: Remember, it's a "Visitor's Permit" issued on arrival, not a traditional pre-stamped visa.
  • Validity: The Visitor's Permit is typically granted for up to 4 months for tourism.
  • No Work: Working on a Visitor's Permit is strictly prohibited. For business purposes, a Business Visitor's Permit may be issued on arrival, usually valid for 14 days.
  • Extension: The Visitor's Permit can potentially be extended for an additional two months by applying at the Fiji Immigration website before your current permit expires.
  • Entry Discretion: Final entry into Fiji is at the sole discretion of the Fijian Immigration Officer at the port of entry.
  • Health Requirements: Ensure you meet any current health or vaccination requirements specified by Fiji Immigration (e.g., related to contagious diseases).
  • Customs & Culture: Be respectful of local customs and traditions.

III. Fiji Visa/Permit Refund Policy (SKY SARTHI™):

Given that Indian citizens receive a Visitor's Permit on Arrival without a pre-arranged visa fee, the refund policy for Fiji is unique:

  • No Visa Fee Refund (N/A): As there is no prior visa application fee paid for the Visitor's Permit for Indian citizens, there is no visa fee to refund.
  • Service Charges: Any service charges paid to SKY SARTHI™ for assistance with pre-travel arrangements (e.g., verifying documents, flight/hotel bookings, providing guidance) are non-refundable once services have been rendered or commenced. This includes cases where entry is denied by Fiji Immigration due to reasons such as insufficient funds, lack of proper return tickets, past immigration issues, or any decision made by the immigration officer.
  • Applicant Responsibility: It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure they meet all required entry criteria at the time of travel. SKY SARTHI™ provides guidance, but the final decision rests with Fiji Immigration.
